We build arcades
that burn clean.

RED & BLUE LTD is a small studio making mobile arcade entertainment. Our first title is Blaze — a foundry arcade about feeding a furnace, igniting clusters and chaining cascades before the fuel runs out.

The Blaze furnace at full Flashover

Why we exist

Most mobile arcades ask you for an account before they ask you to play, then keep asking: for attention, for a connection, for money. We wanted the opposite — an app you install, open on a plane, and simply play.

So Blaze ships with no permissions at all. Not one. It cannot reach the network, because it never asks for the right to. Every number that decides what happens on screen is printed inside the app on the Almanac page, read straight out of the game's own tables — because a player who can see the maths is a player who can get good at the game.

Offline by design

No INTERNET permission in the manifest. Nothing leaves the device.

Nothing hidden

Weights, values, targets and triggers are all printed in the Almanac.

Every drop is yours

You pick the column. Nothing is auto-played and nothing plays itself.

Our app

Blaze — a foundry arcade

A cluster igniting and the chain ladder stepping up

One shift, one furnace, twenty units of fuel

You work the night shift at a small ironworks. Pick one of five columns and the queued ember falls to the lowest free cell of a 5×5 grid. Land five or more of the same face orthogonally connected and they ignite: the cells burn away, everything above collapses into the gap, and the top refills from the weighted draw.

If the settled grid pays again, the chain steps up — ×1, ×2, ×3, ×5 — and while a chain is alive four connected faces are enough to keep it going. The chain caps at twelve steps and resets the moment a settled grid burns nothing.

Every drop costs one unit of fuel and a shift starts with twenty. Fill the grid to the top with no cluster available, or run the tank dry, and the shift ends in a Burnout.

Flashover

Burned cells raise the Heat gauge. At 100 the furnace goes to Flashover: five drops that cost no fuel, the chain carries across them, and a white-hot Core is forced into every refill. It can retrigger once per shift.

Sparkflint

Three charges per shift. Tap any landed cell to ignite it together with its neighbours of the same face, however small the group. Saving them for the right grid is most of the skill.

Fuel and target

Twenty units at the start, one per drop. Each furnace carries its own score target — beat it for a completion bonus, miss it and you bank only what you earned on the floor.

Embers

An arcade score resource, banked at one Ember per ten points. Earned by playing, spent only inside the Forge. Never bought, never sold, never cashed out.

The seven faces

These are the exact weights and cluster values the game draws from — the same table the Almanac page prints inside the app. The seven weights add up to 100, so a weight is also the percentage share of a single draw.

The chain ladder

×1 ×2 ×3 ×5

The first ignition on a drop needs five connected faces. While the chain is alive, four are enough. The ladder tops out at ×5 and the chain can run for up to twelve steps before it caps — a Chamber Liner upgrade adds two more steps per level.

The Forge

Embers earned on shift buy four furnaces and four rigging upgrades. Every one of them changes how the next shift actually plays — none of them are cosmetic only.

Dropping an ember into a column

Drop

Pick a column. The queued ember falls to the lowest free cell — and the next two in the queue are always visible.

The Flashover eruption

Flashover

Heat at 100 opens five free drops with the chain carrying across them and a Core in every refill.

A cooled furnace after a Burnout

Burnout

Dry tank or a full grid ends the shift. The report shows the score, the target, the best chain and the Embers banked.

FAQ

Does Blaze involve real money?

No. There are no purchases, no payments, no payment SDK and no price of any kind inside the app. Embers are an arcade score resource: earned by playing, spent only inside the Forge, and they cannot be bought, sold, transferred or cashed out.

Who makes Blaze?

Blaze is developed and published by RED & BLUE LTD, registered in Douglas, Isle of Man. It is our own in-house arcade title — no third-party publisher is involved.

Does it work offline?

Always. The app declares no Android permissions at all, including no INTERNET permission, so it cannot connect to a network even if it wanted to. Scores, Embers, upgrades and shift history live in local storage on your device.

What data do you collect?

None. There is no account, no sign-in, no analytics SDK, no advertising SDK and no crash reporting. Uninstalling the app removes everything it ever stored. The full details are in our Privacy Policy.

Is the outcome decided in advance?

No. The result comes out of the grid itself — a drop lands, clusters are found, cells burn, the grid collapses and refills from the weighted draw. The seven weights are printed in full on the Almanac page inside the app, and they are the same numbers listed on this page.
